Doctor Bruce Rubin, MD
Dr. Bruce Rubin, the lead physician at Amore Skin, brings a unique blend of neurological expertise and aesthetic medicine to his practice. He earned his B.S. degree from Hobart College in New York and received his MD from the State University of New York at Syracuse. After his Medicine internship at Staten Island University Hospital in NY , he completed his Neurology residency at the Neurological Institute, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in NYC. Dr. Rubin then did a Post-graduate fellowship with a sub-specialization in Neurorehabilitation at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital.
As a board-certified neurologist specializing in neurorehabilitation and spasticity management, Dr. Rubin has a deep understanding of facial neuroanatomy, allowing for a seamless transition into aesthetic medicine. Over his 17-year career, he has administered thousands of botulinum toxin treatments for both therapeutic and cosmetic purposes, leveraging his advanced knowledge to deliver exceptional results. At Amore Skin, Dr. Rubin combines his medical expertise with training in lasers and other aesthetic techniques, offering patients the latest in beauty and wellness treatments with a focus on precision and patient care.
Leisy Strachan MSN RN
Leisy Strachan, MSN, RN, brings over a decade of expertise in dermatology and aesthetics to her work at Amore Skin. Originally from Havana, Cuba, Leisy’s journey began with six years of medical education before immigrating to the U.S., where she discovered her passion for dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
Known for her cheerful demeanor and strong medical foundation, Leisy has worked alongside leading aesthetic professionals in both hospital and private practice settings, honing her skills in general and surgical dermatology. At Amore Skin, Leisy applies her extensive experience and dedication to delivering tailored skincare and aesthetic solutions, meeting the diverse needs of Miami’s vibrant clientele. With a commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements in her field, she continues to enhance her expertise as she pursues her Nurse Practitioner license.
